Yes
Restoria will not damage permed or straightened hair, but it is safest to stop using Restoria about two weeks before you have a treatment. The development of colour may be slower on treated hair. The use of peroxide neutralizer in salon and home perming or straightening kits may lighten or strip out colour.
Yes (Must do a strand test first)
Try Restoria on a small area of hair in a less noticeable place first – check that the result is your desired colour. Only apply Restoria to the new hair growing from the scalp. If you do have a dye, tint or bleach on your hair, shampoo the hair well to remove any surface colourants.
No
Do not use Restoria on any facial hair including moustaches, beards, eyelashes and eyebrows.
3-4 weeks
Restoria works gradually, you may not see a colour change for several days. On average Restoria takes 3-4 weeks to restore the hair to its natural colour.
No
The gradual action cannot be sped up by more frequent application or by using more product.
As long as you use Restoria
If you stop applying Restoria your hair will lighten week by week, gradually becoming grey again.
We recommend that, where possible, avoid the use of conditioners, conditioning shampoos or silicone based hair styling products during the time of Restoria application. Such products leave deposits on the hair and slow the effects of Restoria.
To achieve the desired hair colour it is advisable to limit washing your hair to every 3 days, and to use a mild shampoo. After your desired shade is reached you may return to your regular shampooing routine. During the period of daily applications avoid getting the hairline wet when washing your face or showering.
Some colour transfer may occur after application to fabrics coming into contact with the hair, such as pillowcases etc. If this occurs, washing with usual detergent and water should remove the colour.
Please take care not to splash Restoria during application and wipe up any splash marks immediately. Some residue may appear where Restoria is dispensed. This is normal reaction that can be removed with washing if desired.
